We invite you to join us in The Anti-Imperialist Bloc on May 1st — the international day of struggle for workers! For over a hundred years, the workers and oppressed people of the world have marked this day against imperialism, raising the red banner of international solidarity.

US imperialism and its lackey state Israel have continued their campaign of terror in the Middle East, particularly against Palestine, Iran and Lebanon. The fascist state of India is waging a genocidal war against its own people. Poverty and food prices are rising, while welfare is being cut and real wages are falling. The imperialists are enriching themselves at our expense. But despite the crisis of capitalism and imperialist wars, the peoples of the world are fighting for a better and brighter future free of crisis and war. It is in this spirit that we are organising this year's Anti-Imperialist Bloc. We raise the red banner of international solidarity, and salute the people's struggle in India, Iran and Palestine! We salute the international anti-imperialist front! The struggle against imperialism is international, and it must also be waged in the streets of Bergen!

Come and join us in The Anti-Imperialist Bloc! We begin the day with an anti-imperialist rally at 11:00 at Nonneseter. We then participate in the Norwegian Trade Union Confederation (LO) rally at 13:00 at Torgallmenningen. An anti-imperialist cultural evening will be held at Bergen Assembly after the march!

Support the people's struggle in India and Palestine! USA — hands off Iran! Down with "Operation Kagaar"! Long live the new democratic revolution in India! Support the Palestinian resistance struggle! Free Palestine!
